So expect to spot a few pancake stacks formed after wind and water pass on them.
• The Clock Tower - a small road-trip drive in your car rental won’t hurt as you go view the great Clock Tower. It is a property of the Rotary and Lyons club and was erected in 1992. It is a beautiful structure to look or take a photo of.
• Glaciers of Franz Joseph - this village over on the west coast became a tourist hub thanks to the glaciers located there. The village serves as the climbing center to the sky glider that takes you on an aero-trip over the beautiful glaciers of Fox and Franz Joseph. It is a really high altitude travel so you need all the courage you can gather. The glaciers last about half a day or may take a full day depend on how lucky you are.
• Cape Foulwind - it was once a lighthouse protected area, but now it is a nursery for seal puppies. There is an entire seal colony living at Foulwind today and if you show up in time for birth season, you will be met with a priceless view of seal puppies suckling or running after the big ones. It’s a short distance in your car hire so definitely worth a visit.
