This is the largest airport in Estonia and the main hub to the flag carrier Estonia Air. It is served by both domestic and international flights. Its location is about four kilometers from the the city center of Tallinn. This airport has scheduled flights like Estonia Air, Finnair, Lufthansa and Norwegian Air Shuttle that link it to international destinations. Chartered airlines are AMC Airlines Bulgaria Air, Orbest and many more.
The airport has 14 terminal gates. There are various vendors in the terminal building among them is a duty-free shop, three restaurants and three coffee shops. This means that you can grab a bite while you wait for your flight, or even do so shopping at discounted prices. The other facilities available are free wireless and also wired internet connection that you can use to do your work within the few minutes before you are picked up or before you fly, telephone services and a post office are also available. You can also exchange your currency or withdraw cash from the ATMs. At the terminals there are two bus stops. One is for the passengers who are coming from town and hence it stops at the departure area. The other one stops at the arrival area and picks the passengers who are heading to the city center. If you don’t want the hustle of riding on a bus you can hire a car from any of the companies which are Europcar, Budget, Hertz and Avis.
Tallinn is a beautiful place to be where you can easily explore on foot but when you want to visit the other neighboring cities you can take a bus ride or a train. You can visit the Estonia Ope Air Museum in Rocca al Mare which is located in the west of the city.
