Later, in the mid 17th century, Brno was the only capital of Moravia. In 1924, Brno was the capital city of Moravia. When communism existed in Czechoslovakia, during the late 1940s, Brno stopped serving as Moravia’s capital city. Currently, Brno is the South Moravian Region’s seat of Regional Authority. Brno is known as a trade city. It is located at the crossroads of old trade routes that have attached northern and southern European cultures and civilizations for many years.

Brno is known as one of the most cleanest cities in the world. Many rivers and lakes exist throughout the city. Brno’s climate is relatively cold in the winter, and seemingly warm in the summer. It depends when you book your date of travel the clothes that you wear. However, if you are going in peak season, April through September, you need to wear a jacket, t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes.
