Lambert-St. Louis airport is an international airport located in the northwest of St. Louis county at a distance of about 14 km. The airport is named after Olympic athlete Albert Bond Lambert. This airport was originally launched as Kinloch Field. In 1928 ,eventually it became named as St. Louis airport, the very first municipally owned airport in the United States.
