Reno is nicknamed the big-small town in Nevada and this is evident in its tiny square km but houses thousands of people. Not everyone goes there to look for a home; the city is known for its many casinos which makes it a huge gambling town after its close counterpart Las Vegas.
The town is served by Reno Airport, which is located 5km to the southern side of downtown Reno. It serves as both a passenger and military airstrip ferrying passengers into and out of Washoe County. As you check in at the terminals, you will find your car hire waiting in the parking lot. If you didn’t order one online you can still do so at the terminals and within no time the vehicle will pull up next to you.
Despite the burst of casinos all over town, there are still some lovely places to visit for those who don’t have the gambling backbone. On the other hand, if you are in town to gamble and win, the extra attractions are a nice pastime and a way to clear your head before going back to the poker rooms.
Make Reno your next tourist destination!
