Al-Khor is another old city of Qatar. The city is famous for its fish market. At Al Thakira you can see salt marshes leading to a desert ditch ahead of which lies the Al Thakira beach. Losail racing circuit is the city’s racing center. You can also see the beautiful rock carvings at Jabal Jassiya. Al Sultan Beach resort is one of the most luxurious and exciting beach resorts of the country.
This desert country has a surprisingly unique ecology which captivates its tourists. For example Dhal Al Misfir is a cave formation with gypsum crystals. Qatar’s “singing sand dunes” create mysterious and intriguing humming sound that mesmerizes visitors. So come and explore this middle eastern country.
