Located in the north-western part of Europe, touching the Baltic Sea shore, the Republic of Latvia was founded on November 18, 1918. Old Riga features a comparatively small region of the 13th-18th century fortifications where inimitable monuments of medieval construction. The architecture includes Riga Cathedral, Riga Castle, Gothic style St. Peter’s church and the stunning Synagogue of Old Riga. Vermane Park is a beautiful park located in the city.
Latvia has beautiful white sandy beaches, magnificent resort cities, fishing villages and modern port cities along the Baltic Sea coast. Jurmala city is the biggest resort city of the country and tourists’ most favorite too. The city offers thermal waters, pine forests, aqua parks and a lot of other attractions. The country has been eager to preserve natural beauty though its national parks. Gauja, Kemeri and Razna National Parks are some of them.
