• Saint Peter Cathedral - locally known as Cathedral Saint Pierre. The church is quite huge thus meaning there is a lot to see both on the outside and inside. • Parlement de Bretagne - the parliament building was built in the early 16th century and was the main building where Brittany executive decisions were made. At some point in the 19th century, the building was torched down by a group of protesting local fishermen. After the skirmish, the building was renovated and today it houses the court of appeal.
• Paleis du Commerce - it used to be the ‘Wall Street’ of Rennes until recently when it was transformed into a post office. Drive your Rennes Train Station to the bank of River Villaine and you will see this majestic building giving the town a modern look.
